# Does Decktopus AI Work Offline?

Learn why Decktopus requires an active internet connection and how to access your presentations without one.

### **Does Decktopus Work Offline?**

Decktopus is a fully cloud-based platform. An active internet connection is required at all times to create, edit, and view presentations. There is no offline mode available.

### **What Can I Do If I Need Offline Access?**

If you need to access your presentation without an internet connection, we recommend downloading your presentation before you go offline.

1.  Open your presentation in the editor
    
2.  Click **Download** in the top toolbar
    
3.  Select your preferred format: PDF or PPT
    
4.  Save the file to your device
    

Your downloaded file will be accessible offline at any time.

### **FAQ**

**Can I edit my presentation offline?**  
No. Editing requires an active internet connection.

**Can I view my presentation offline?**  
Not within Decktopus. However, if you download your presentation as PDF or PPT, you can view it offline on your device.

**Will my work be saved if I lose internet connection while editing?**  
Decktopus automatically saves your work in the cloud. If your connection drops, your last saved state will be restored when you reconnect.
